No Science’s Flame work helps burnish SEAT’s amazing new spot
Currently on screens around Europe is
Good Stuff, a new 60 second SEAT spot featuring international superstar Shakira.

The spot takes the viewer on a journey over land, sea and air that combines a myriad of animation styles and techniques with live action, visual effects and architectural design.
Produced by Superfad for Agency Atletico, the spot encompasses a dazzling array of CG animation and tricks, including 2D motion graphics & graffiti design, live action with dancers and glitter explosions, 8 bit pixel style animation, full 3D city build & animation and a stop frame animation shoot mixed with 3D characters.
Superfad’s Creative Director (and director of the spot) Adam Parry brought NoScience’s Stephane Allender on board to act as both Shoot Supervisor and Flame artist for the project. Following a two days shoot in Madrid for Shakira’s blue-screen elements, Allender spent six weeks in Flame helping Parry to get the looks he wanted. In addition to extensive work on the opening ‘glitter’ section, particular challenges were posed by the underwater sequence, involving both set extension work and additional camera moves. Allender rounded his work of with the assemblage of the concluding, highly complex pack shot.
